Beatriz Martín Terceño was born in Burgos in 1978.  She studied Fine Art at the Universities of Granada and Barcelona and later Professional Illustration at the Higher School of Art and Technology in Valencia. After spending a number of years painting and teaching Drawing, she discovered the world of illustration, of images and texts and the infinite connections between them. Since then, she has been working as an illustrator and exploring different media. Her drawings have been published in several magazines and books, targeted to adults and children.

In 2011 her work was selected to appear in the Annual and the Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, and the exhibition organized by the JBBY (Japanese Board on Books for Young People) in museums in various Japanese cities.
