Lara Luís is part of the group of young portuguese ilustrators that are on the merge of taking the ilustration world by assault. With a singular approach of her own she focus her work on the creation of unique characteres that have become well known and take major influences of childlike illustration.

Currently she’s working on her masters in Illustration & Comics at ESAP in Guimarães with her work’s popularity growing ever since she was invited to display it on two of the major Portuguese TV channels. On a professional level Lara has worked with important brands such as FNAC or the publisher Azul Caramelo. On her bag she can count several features in colective exhibits as well as solo ones in galleries like Ó! Galeria in Porto. She also has experienced editorial work on Jornal Universitário do Porto (JUP) and CRU, amongst others.

Lara Luís faz parte do grupo de jovens ilustradores portuenses que estão prestes a tomar de assalto o mundo da ilustração tal como nós o conhecemos actualmente. Com um estilo bastante vincado focado principalmente na criação de personagens bastante característicos que bebem influências da ilustração infantil.

Actualmente encontra-se a finalizar o Mestrado em Ilustração e BD pela ESAP em Guimarães, tendo o seu trabalho ganho crescente popularidade e contando com duas passagens pela televisão em dois dos maiores canais generalistas mais importantes (SIC e TVI). A nível profissional já trabalhou com empresas importantes como a FNAC e a editora Azul Caramelo, contando também com participações em diversas exposições colectivas e ainda a solo em galerias como a Ó! Galeria no Porto. Realizou também trabalho editorial para o Jornal Universitário do Porto (JUP) e a revista CRU.
