Maria Elina Méndez (Buenos Aires, 1975) went out of the career of Design of Image and Sound, in the University of Buenos Aires and complemented her studies with diverse projects and workshops related with photography, plastic arts, scenery and illustration. For four years she took part of the scenery workshop in General San Martín Theatre until she decided to devote entirely her career to the show and to the creation of illustrated objects. From the beginning of 2012 she became a collaborator of the supplement of culture ADN for the diary La Nacion, in Argentina, and joined the art gallery Mar Dulce, in Buenos Aires. Her work has been published in Argentina, Mexico, Spain and France and she has been selected for the Premier of Latin American illustration 2012.
