Marta Madureira's Portfolio
Marta Madureira is a communication designer and illustrator, which subjects she teaches at Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave, within Graphic Design Graduation and Illustration and Animation Master of Arts. Having graduated and mastered at the Fine Arts School of Oporto University, she is presently concluding the PhD.
Marta counts with over 20 published books having illustrated texts of many acclaimed Portuguese authors such as Álvaro Magalhães, Vergílio Alberto Vieira, Manuel António Pina, Adélia Carvalho, Ana Luísa Amaral, José Vaz, among others.
Together with Pedro Mota Teixeira, she is the author and director of the animations series “As Máquinas de Maria” (Maria's Machines) funded by the Portuguese Institution for Cinema and Audiovisual. Marta is also the co-founder of the publisher Tcharan, together with Adélia Carvalho.
